This is an ME metal watering can I have had for years. I usually keep pens,pencils, paint brushes etc. in it.

The applique was sent to me through a card exchange with some of my Rosebuddies. That's a group of us that met thru an aol Mary Engelbreit group over 10 years ago.

We joined my brother at the Dell Diamond last night for the game and afterward wonderful fireworks. Hot fun in the summertime.
Renovations under full swing. Sanity hanging by a thread. Need more m&m's(maragritas and martini's).
Shopping today for new refrigerator , wall paper and kitchen sink and hardware.
Found out our favorite restaurant closed. Roy's- it was Hawaiian fusion. It was so wonderful. Now we have to find another favorite place. We had our last anniversary there. They make you feel very special. Not to mention yummy food and drinks.
Off today-Hurrah!

Here's a picture of a field of bluebonnets we saw on our way to the coast earlier this month.

This has been a wonderful year for wildflowers.

Can't believe I've had a blog for a whole year. I must admit I have not posted regularly. Partially due to no camera. Which was found in daughters bedroom. Hurray! Does that tell you what it must look like in there? Teenagers....Oh well. It's her domain.

Tomorrow is Derby Day. We'll be watching.

Spring is here!

Spring is here in full swing.
We are going to the coast for Easter. Headed out tomorrow for Port A. Just like last year.
Can't wait to get some much needed beach therapy.

Happy New Year

Having spent a horrific new years eve sick as a dog I am hoping the new year is better.Could not stomach champagne. I toasted with DD's sparking grape juice,only took a small sip(ick-too sweet!).Then had a few bites of favorite ice cream-Haagen- Dazs coffee. Thankfully it stayed down.
So far so good. Woke up to watch my favorite parade.The Rose Parade.Made my new years quiche and watched new Harry Potter movie.This is our day for lounging around. Not going anywhere.
